Mothercare have decided to recall their own brand Wooden Maracas because of a risk of the item breaking and release small parts, that could be a potential choking hazard.
Mothercare have said that they are “…currently undertaking investigations into this issue, however, we are recalling the product as a precautionary measure.”
The affected stock is red or yellow in colour and has a plain wooden handle, the packaging is marked: “Style No. F6633”.
The product should be taken away from children and returned to any Mothercare store for a full refund.
