Early Learning Centre has recalled its Mini Artist My First Art Set because of a potential choking hazard.
The company states : “A small risk has been identified whereby the red messy mat supplied as part of the set may tear potentially creating small parts that could result in a choking hazard.”
A small number of these sets are known to have been purchased between 7th January 2014 and 14th January 2014 from the following stores:

- Peterborough
- Thurrock
- Wakefield
- Stockton
- Bradford
- Swindon
- Liverpool
Anyone who has an Early Learning Centre Mini Artist My First Art Set should stop its use immediately and return it to their nearest store or contact ELC’s Customer Services department via telephone number : 0871 231 3511 ; lines are open from Monday to Friday 8 am to 8 pm, Saturday 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm.
