Choking Hazard Prompts John Lewis to Recall Dolls

Recalled John Lewis Dolls

John Lewis has recalled various own-brand dolls because there is a risk that a part of the eye may detach posing a potential choking hazard.

  • The affected dolls are:
  • My First Doll – Girl (785 00120 / 785 00122)
  • My First Doll – Boy (785 00121)
  • Baby Doll Twin Set (785 00124)
  • My First Doll Bumper Set (785 00127)

This recall only affects stock with the batch codes:

  • 1702
  • 1703

The batch code can be found on the barcode label on the back of the box and on the sewn-in label.

If you have any of the above dolls from a different batch and you remain concerned, John Lewis will still allow you to return it.

The affected dolls have been sold since 27 September 2017, if you have one stop using it and return it to your nearest John Lewis or Waitrose Food & Home shop as soon as possible for a full refund.
