FAO Schwarz will temporarily closes it flagship toy store in New York City until 30th March 2020.
The closure starts this Tuesday (17th March 2020) and is because of concerns around the spreading of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
On Twitter, the company stated, “… [n]othing is more important than the health and safety of our Team Members and Guests. It is for this reason that we have made the decision to temporarily close the FAO Schwarz Flagship store at Rockefeller Center in NYC until March 30th, 2020.”
FAO Schwarz will continue to trade online, offering delivery to homes. The company will also continue to offer its personal shopping and local delivery around New York City.
