Poundland have recalled sets of Halloween Face Paints and pairs Gory Rubber Halloween Gloves, due to what the retailer describes as: “unacceptable levels of a chemical that maybe unsafe for young children has been discovered in one of the samples sent for additional testing”.
The affected items model and barcode numbers are:
#71097-HALLOWEEN FACE PAINT
Barcode: 5025066710972
#71107- GORY RUBBER HALLOWEEN GLOVES (With Black Interior Only)
Barcode: 5025066711078
There have been no reported incidents or injuries. Stocks sold of these item in 2009, as well as 2010, are part of this recall.
If you have such gloves with a black interior or the affected face paints, then you should return the item to your nearest Poundland store as soon as possible.
