Early Learning Centre has recalled all My First Pour and Play Tea Sets due to a potential choking hazard. The replica cherries on the two toy cupcakes (fairy cakes), that were included with the tea set, may become detached; this results in a small part that, if ingested, may choke a small child.
The My first Pour and Play Tea Set toys were made in China and sold by Early Learning Centre and Mothercare, both in stores and online. Its catalogue reference number is: 134254.
Customers should return the toy cupcakes affected by this recall notice to their nearest Early Learning Centre or Mothercare store for a full refund. Alternatively, contact the company’s customer service helpline on 0871 231 3516. ELC’s helpline is open Monday to Saturday from 8 am until 8 pm, Sunday and bank holidays from 9 am and 5 pm (calls are charged at 10p per minute plus standard network rates).
Only the cakes in this set need to be returned, you’ll be allowed to keep the teapot and tea cups if you wish and still get a full refund.
