Rainbow Designs has recalled a batch of its Miffy Bean Rattles due to a potential choking hazard.

The company has discovered that the tail may become detached after a period of use, creating a small part that could choke young children.

Only rattles with the batch code: 013497/11/2011 are affected; the product’s item code is: MF0938.

A total of 2,556 items were sold in the UK, the affected products were available to buy from February 2012.

Anyone who has purchased these Miffy Bean Rattles should check the batch code to see if it is the same as the one detailed above. The batch code is printed on a small label next to the sewn in label of the rattle or printed on the cardboard swing ticket above the barcode.
