Toys “R” Us has recalled a type of radio controlled helicopter sold its stores because the rechargeable battery may overheat, posing a potential fire and burn hazard.
The Fast Lane Radio Control Giant Helicopter in Case was sold exclusively in Toys “R” Us stores (Fast Lane is one of the retailer’s own brand labels used on directly imported toys).
The affected products have the model number 5F5F2F5 and the barcode (UPC) 886150510022 on the packaging. Toys”R”Us item number (SKN) 161713 is printed on receipts, invoices and delivery notes.
Use of these helicopters should be stopped and they should be returned to your nearest Toys “R” Us store for a refund or credit note.
