Toys R Us has recalled four types of Babies R Us cot mobiles, due to the discovery that its music box can break during use.
The company did not state the exact nature of the risk posed in the “Safety Notice” it has issued, however, such music boxes contain clockwork, so a broken one could potentially release small parts posing a choking hazard.
The following cot mobiles are affected:
- I Love My Bear Pink Spot Mobile – SKN [stock keeping number]: 510378
- I Love My Bear Blue Spot Mobile – SKN: 510351
- I Love My Bear & Friends Cot Mobile – SKN: 159255
- My Favourite Things Cot Mobile – SKN: 047740
Anyone in possession of the above cot mobiles should stop using it and return it to their nearest Toys R Us store for an exchange or a refund.
