Recalled Oball Rattles

Kids II has recalled hundreds of thousands of Oball Rattles due to a potential choking hazard.

The company has received 42 report of a plastic disc containing small beads breaking and releasing these beads. There were two reports of beads being found in children’s’ mouths and a further three reports of children gagging on them.

About 680,000 of these rattles were sold in the USA, while a further 17,000 were sold in Canada. These toys were also sold worldwide. The product was manufactured in China.

The affected Oball rattles were sold between January 2016 and February 2017, both online and in a wide variety of retailers.

The recalled Oball Rattles have the model number 81031 printed on the inner surface of one the plastic disc and on the packaging. They also either have T0486, T1456, T2316, T2856 or T3065 printed within a small triangle on the inner surface of the rattle as a date code. Only the above date codes are included in this recall.

If you have these rattles, take them away from young children immediately. Kids II can be contacted for a full refund via its website.
