Toys R Us has open a new store in Uxbridge. The new store opened late-February and is located on the ground floor Lower Mall of intu Uxbridge (formerly known as Chimes Shopping Centre).
Toys R Us had previously traded in this shopping centre before. In late-October 2012, the company opened a pop-up store with the intention of taking advantage of the busy Christmas shopping period. Its temporary existence came to an end in mid-May 2013, with the unit being taken over by clothing retailer Next.
The store is 5,750 square feet in size, and the toy retailer believes it is an improvement over its previous incarnation. The new store will stock many popular toy ranges, including: Star Wars, LEGO, Barbie, Disney Princess, Thomas the Tank Engine, Peppa Pig, as well as own brand toys and more. The layout includes Universe of Imagination, an area dedicated to educational learning toys to make learning fun. There is also an entire section for the latest video games consoles and software.
