Choking Hazard Leads to Recall of Munchkin Waterpede Bath Toys

 

Recalled Munchkin Waterpede Bath Toy
Munchkin has recalled it Waterpede bath toy because of a potential choking hazard. The bath toy can break apart exposing the small plastic beads. Such small parts pose a potential choking hazard to young children.

There has been one report received by it makers of the toy breaking apart and exposing small beads. However no injuries have been reported.

Around 72,000 of these bath toys are affected. The product was made in China and was sold throughout the USA.

Stores that stocked Munchkin Waterpede, include Babies R Us and Target, among others and the product was also sold via Munchkin’s website.

Waterpedes were available from September 2015 until January 2018 and were sold for between $5 and $7.

If you have these you should immediately take the bath toy away from young children and contact Munchkin for a free replacement bath toy which will be of comparable value.
